Suri Kasirer, born and raised in Queens as the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, always wanted to be an Advocate. When starting the firm in 1997, Suri Kasirer had a mission of serving as a champion for people, progress, and policy with an eye toward effectuating positive and tangible change in New York City. Fittingly, Suri’s first clients were nonprofits, many of which have remained with us for over twenty five years.
For nearly three decades, Suri has worked vigorously to professionalize the industry through a focus on strategy, transparency and ethics. Her efforts were recognized in 2023 by the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics, which listed her as one of the country's top lobbyists.
Our value-driven approach to government relations and our persistent focus on ways to align the interests of our clients with those of local government delivers services more effectively, moves transformational projects forward and helps New York City continue to thrive.
