After nearly two years of renovations, the Delacorte Theater in Central Park has officially reopened to the public, kicking off its ‘Shakespeare in the Park’ series on August 7, 2025. Throughout the project’s duration, Kasirer successfully navigated the incredibly complex approval process for the landmark renovation, coordinating all community outreach, navigating the LPC approval process, obtaining permits for construction, and managing community outreach and engagement. Kasirer was instrumental in garnering the support of key elected government officials, as well as all Community Boards that cover Central Park, building a cohort of champions at the state, city and neighborhood levels. A cornerstone win of the project was helping the Delacorte secure $42 million in City funding.
